Is there a recipe for happiness? Meg certainly thinks so. She collects all the necessary ingredients in a jar, which she uses to cheer up her friends and family when they’re feeling low.

But what happens when her special jar mysteriously disappears? Will Meg feel sad forever more, or will she find other ways to be happy?

This is a beautifully written and illustrated story. The story is allowed to shine through the emotion of the pictures, and it is a book children and adults alike will treasure.

Proof that you don't need any special ingredients to make happiness that it's there for sharing and receving as the mood and need takes us. Meg thinks that when she loses her jar of happiness that she can;t be happy, until she visits all the people she's made happy and then realises they make her happy too. Lovely illustrations
