    I bought this book not long ago and I have already mastered many of the basics. It is the Japanese cuisine only book I have read that actually has some baking recipes. Pictography is very fine, unintentionally giving the reader a guide to presentation. Instructions are very specific and the book will teach you some techniques which are useful in other cuisine also.I have enjoyed and continue to enjoy this book. A great introduction to the basics and philosophy behind Japanese cuisine.Favourite recipes ; Green Tea and Aduki bean cake, and Teriyaki Trout (Yummee hot or cold)BUY THIS BOOK NOW !
