I like crime thrillers, and this one has an intriguing premise as well as being well written. I've since bought it for someone else (who enjoyed it) and read some of her other work, where each book is quite different. It's a pleasure to read a book with an interesting premise that is well written, rather than another interesting premise that is workmanlike at best in it's writing (step forward, Dan Brown).

Having spent many hours in the DR of the Cardiff University anatomy department, I can say that this book brought back more than a few memories.I read it in one massive bite, on a long coach journey. 16 hours just flew by as I became totally engrossed in the meticulous detail of the gripping plot of this fine novel.

I could not put it down, this book kept me intrigued until the very last page. And it made me laugh! It is so witty and intelligently written, I just wished it had carried on into a new story of Mrs Deal and Tracy as I'm now left guessing how this might have continued

I read this after it was suggested at my book club - not the usual kind of thing I would go for but so glad that it made our list. A fascinating plot line executed brilliantly, and a startlingly realistic insight into the mind of someone with Aspergers. Read this if you like murder mystery, crime fiction, or are interested by the Aspergers angle, but most importantly just because it's a great book.

Excellent book with an autistic young man as the central character. I am now trying to find all her other books.
