Whilst for many this author is the bees knees I was quite disappointed in this book. The writing is great, quite conversational and detailed. It taps into what it is to be a human but I due to spoilers in the reviews (which I didn't read but others referred to them) I kept waiting to be surprised but sadly wasn't. Beautifully written but if you want a satisfying ending, then this isn't the book for you.

This is a very interesting book exploring an alternate Britain with a dark side from the perspective of one woman.I struggled to put this book down and would certainly recommend it to others.

A beautifully written thought provoking book. This book is not science fiction or about the rights or wrongs of cloning. Cloning is a subject matter that remains controversial and for most people unacceptable. The author uses this premise in order to explore how what should be unacceptable (e.g. war, famine, nuclear weapons - whichever the reader chooses) is accepted if we are brought up to believe this is 'normal' The fact that some readers found this book disturbing underpins what the author is trying to say. A brilliant read that was difficult to put down

Very intriquing plot which takes some time before understanding what's actually going on. Certainly keeps you reading and turning over the pages...

Loved this book, answered questions left over from the film. A real can't put down job. Xx
