From the author of ebook No. 1 bestseller and Sunday Times top ten bestseller AFTER ANNA.

A serial killer is stalking your home town.

He has a type: all his victims look the same.

And they all look like you.

Kate returns from a post break-up holiday with her girlfriends to news of a serial killer in her home town – and his victims all look like her.

It could, of course, be a simple coincidence.

Or maybe not.

She becomes convinced she is being watched, followed even. Is she next? And could her mild-mannered ex-boyfriend really be a deranged murderer?

Or is the truth something far more sinister?

Review Text

Killing Kate is my first adventure in to the writing of Alex Lake. The characters are relatable and likable which only makes you want to read more. I somehow managed to work out the killer 2/3 of the way through although to be honest I suspected almost everyone! The personal connection between Kate and the killer is gripping as you aim to find out why the victims look like her. This is definitely worth a read.

I was so excited to go on holiday because it meant I could actually have the time to sit and enjoy a book again. My usual genre is romantic/comedy but I decided to pick something a bit different and I am glad I did. Gripping storyline and I couldn't put it down!

This book got worse as it went on. Ridiculous plot, poor dialogue, no idea of police procedures. It probably took less time to write than to read.

I thought this book was very clever. The portrayal of the serial killer seemed quite realistic and chilling. Kate, the main character, was also well thought out.I enjoyed reading this book and will be reading more from Alex Lake
