An early book of Crichton luminous with the promise of works to come. Nothing like so compelling as later offerings like Jurassic Park, but an enjoyable read nonetheless.

Well I suppose all popular writers have to start somewhere. This is one of Michael Crichton's earlier works written under the pseudonym of John Lange. His works are being re-released in ebook format. It lacks the sophistication of his later work, some of which had a tendency to be drawn out. This is more like a dime novel.Just quick easy reading without any complexity or real depth of character or plot. Most readers will know what heights Crichton was elevated to in a literary sense but for me that does not detract from the fact that this book is amateurish, flighty and lacking Crichton's later finesse.Thankfully the author went to on to fine-tune his craft as a scribe and create bestsellers.I received a free copy of this book via NetGalley.

A fast paced adventure story by Michael Crichton. The story is set in the deserts of Egypt with Crichtons usual mix of different characters. An easy read that always has you wanting to read "one more chapter" a real "page turner". Would recommend to anyone.

Crichton admitted these were cheap reads, something he was embarrassed to be associated with. But Easy Go shows all the hallmarks of a Crichton great story. Rip roaring. Highly recommend to any adventure/Crichton fan

Probably the worst book that bears Michael Crichton's name. "Easy Go" is easy reading with a very predictable middle section and a bland ending to suit anyone who hasn't yet become a teenager!
